Greg Babe to Present Leadership Award at German American Business Council Maifest Dinner

Washington; April 24, 2012 -- Greg Babe, President and CEO of Bayer Corporation and Bayer MaterialScience LLC, will present the annual German American Business Council (GABC) “Leader of the Year” award to ThyssenKrupp at the seventh annual GABC Maifest Dinner in Washington on April 25, 2012.

Additional leadership award recipients include: The Founding Chairmen of the German American Congressional Caucus, Congressman Jim Gerlach (R-PA) and Congressman Tim Holden (D-PA).

In 2011, Babe was recognized with the GABC “Leader of the Year” award for his leadership in science education advocacy, as well as the quality of Bayer’s public affairs work in Washington D.C.
